Why are your sites not loaded with flash and all sorts of graphics?

Why do all that over kill with bells and whistles on your site when most people can not see it since they may be using older plug-ins or just at the site looking for information. Flash and graphics take time to load, and time is your strongest enemy on the internet. People want to find answers to questions they have fast and do not want to wait for pages to load. Most people will leave and go else where if a site takes over 15 seconds to load. Some people may wait a little longer while others may leave earlier. Not everyone can afford high-speed internet yet, so you have to think about those people still on dial-up and find a medium.

Why is your email address not typed out infull or with regular mailto: coding?

Search bots pick up email address by the millions each day as they browse the internet through code or anything which looks like an email address. They put your address in a database and will sell it and or use it to send junk mail. On my sites I will not spell out someone's email address for this reason unless they specify other wise and I will run the address through a scrambler for when I code the address into a web-page.

Why did you use an image mailer on your site?

Like search bots for email, they can also pick up address. An image holds information which a web-surfer can view but is very difficult or impossible for Search bots to pick up. Someone would have to manually write down the information before it goes into a database which maybe mailing out junk mail.

Do I have to pay to be listed in search engines such as Yahoo or Google?

Some of the sites that I have created have received over 600 hits a month and growing. Out of those sites, I never placed the address into search engines, just a little keyword coding at the top of the page and the engines would pick them up for free. Of course if you want to be at the top of the list, then you will have to pay to be resubmitted every so-often or frequently for your listing to be on the first couple of pages, since companies are always resubmitting.

Why do you round your hosting fees up to the nearst dollar instead of the prices Intermedia charges?

I am not in the business of hosting and I really do not make much off of it. Instead of you and I having to deal with change when we do payments and for me acting as the middle-man of setting up and making sure the server’s information is correct. That little bit of change helps cover my time. If you wish to setup your on hosting for a cheaper cost, then you are welcome to but ask me before you do so I may be able to tell you what you might need to host your site.
