The main objective when designing a website at 3 Click Designs is making sure that any page of a website can be accessed within three clicks from the homepage. Web-surfers do not like to click through layers after layers of web-pages to get to a page which is twenty pages deep in the site. Now hence the more pages there are to a web-site, the more difficult laying out this plan can be.

After a plan is formed on what pages are desired by the client and what will be on each page, they will be laid out to determine how the site will navigate.

The next step is the where the fun begins in starting to layout a design for the site. Sometimes this can be a quick process and other times it may take a while depending on graphics, page layout, and navigation and of coarse getting approval from the client before building the actual web-site.

Every site I strive to build a beautiful and functional web-site. They may not be the latest in new techniques and special effects, but that is for a reason. Web-sites should be enjoyed by the most people possible and 85% of web-surfers do not have all the latest plug-ins and hardware that may be required to view it. So ask your self, would I rather have a site that can be seen by the majority of web-surfers, or only by a small handful.
